CAPABILITIES

Aerospace Engineering Capabilities

TAKT 3D serves aerospace engineering teams with tooling, fixtures, UAV frames, and ground-support hardware.

Rapid Prototyping with DFM Feedback

Design-for-manufacturability input is built into every quote. Get actionable feedback on wall thickness, overhangs, and material selection before you commit to production.

UAV and Hardware Components

Carbon-fiber brackets, frame sections, payload mounts, and structural housings printed in PA-CF and PET-CF for UAV, space-hardware, and R&D programs.

Jigs, Fixtures, and Tooling

Production-grade jigs, ground-support fixtures, and assembly tooling delivered in days, not weeks. Reduce tooling costs and accelerate your engineering line.

High-Performance Materials

Nylon-CF, PH-HT, PET-CF, and PC available in-house. Every material is selected and validated for mechanical performance and dimensional stability.

End-to-End Support

From DFM review and material selection to post-processing and finishing, our engineering team supports your project at every stage.

TAKT 3D is not AS9100-certified. We serve aerospace engineering and R&D teams — tooling, jigs, UAV frames, and ground-support hardware — not flight-critical supply chains. For airworthiness-qualified or flight-hardware programs, ask us about our CNC and metal-AM partner network.

Aerospace 3D printing FAQ

What aerospace parts does TAKT 3D print?+
Tooling, assembly jigs, ground-support fixtures, UAV frames, payload mounts, and R&D prototypes. We serve engineering and R&D teams — not flight-critical or airworthiness-qualified supply chains.
Is TAKT 3D AS9100-certified?+
No. We are not AS9100-certified. For flight-hardware or airworthiness-qualified programs we refer customers to our CNC and metal-AM partner network. TAKT 3D covers the aerospace work that happens around the aircraft — tooling, fixtures, UAV structure, ground-support hardware, and R&D.
Which materials do you use for aerospace tooling and UAV parts?+
Nylon-CF (PA6-CF30) and PET-CF are the most common picks — stiff, low-warp, dimensionally stable. PC for impact-resistant or transparent parts, and PH-HT when elevated temperature resistance matters. Material selection is part of the DFM review on every quote.
How fast can you turn around an aerospace R&D prototype?+
Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days. Expedited (3 days) adds 30%; rush (1–2 days) adds 60%. Small carbon-fiber brackets can often ship inside 48 hours from our San Diego shop.
