WHAT WE PRINT

From one-off commissions to full terrain kits

Whether you're a solo player commissioning a custom character mini or running a boutique Etsy store, we've got the FDM capacity to match.

Display-ready minis at 0.08mm layers

Our Fine preset (0.08mm layer) gives the sharpest detail FDM can produce. Perfect for display pieces, gift-grade minis, and boutique commission work where surface finish matters.

Full-size terrain and dungeon kits

Multi-piece terrain, dungeon tiles, modular buildings. We print PLA or PETG, do cleanup, and hand you a paint-ready kit. Bulk discounts scale to full armies.

Dice towers, card holders, trays

Custom dice towers, tray inserts, deck boxes. Usually one-off commissions — our $20 order minimum and no-quantity-minimum policy makes single-print commissions easy.

Cosplay props: armor, weapons, helmets

Large-format splits for sword handles, shield bosses, and helmet panels. We print in PLA for paintable cosplay and in ABS when vapor-smoothing for a glossy finish.

Boutique miniature runs

Selling a custom 3D-printed mini on Etsy or at a local con? We handle short-run production (50–500 units) with bulk pricing — same file, same quality, printed consistently.

STL conversion and repair

Downloaded an STL from MyMiniFactory or Thingiverse that won't print? We repair non-manifold geometry, orient for support-free printing where possible, and flag problems before you pay.

MATERIALS

Recommended materials

PLA gives the sharpest detail for display. PETG is tougher for parts that get handled hard. ABS if you'll vapor-smooth. TPU for flexible cosplay parts.

Tabletop / cosplay FAQ

What quality setting should I pick for tabletop miniatures?+
Pick Fine (0.08mm layer). It adds to the price (1.80× multiplier) but is night-and-day sharper than Standard for faces, weapons, and armor detail. For bulk terrain or anything that will be painted heavily, Standard (0.16mm) saves cost without a visible quality hit.
How much does a 28mm D&D miniature cost to print?+
A single 28mm mini is roughly 1–3 cm³, so at PLA base ($0.035/cm³ × 1.80 Fine mult × 1.10 failure buffer × 1.5 markup) the material price is under $0.50 — but the $5 per-unit minimum floors each mini at $5. For bulk runs of 10+ identical minis, pricing drops back down to per-cm³ pricing.
Can you print FDG Studios / Artisan Guild / MyMiniFactory STLs?+
Yes — bring your legitimately-acquired STL and we'll print it. We don't check licenses, but we do expect you to own the file or have the rights to print it (per the creator's Merchant License).
How about resin SLA prints for miniatures?+
We're FDM-only — if you need resin-level detail (under 0.08mm layer), another local shop like Incept 3D runs Formlabs SLA. For most tabletop minis printed for play (not display), our Fine FDM with a good prime + paint is indistinguishable at arm's length.
Can you print a full cosplay helmet?+
Yes. Helmets typically split into 4-8 pieces to fit our 256mm bed. We print the pieces, you assemble and finish. PLA for paint-ready, ABS if you're planning to vapor-smooth. Send us the STL or a reference photo and we'll advise on the best split.
